I’m Casey from Wahoo and this is my bandsaw box is made out of a 3in in 6in block of cedar. I made this in shop class. I got the design from someone else on lumberjocks. It wasn’t too hard to make overall, but I’d say the hardest part was trying to get my bottom left drawer to fit back in. For some reason it was the only on that had a tough time so I took it home so I would have time to finish sanding the drawer. I eventually got it sanded right so they all fit perfectly. The actual box itself was pretty easy to cut out and it didn’t take very long. The handles for the drawer were kind of difficult to cut out. I drew the design onto 5 pieces of 2in by 2in scrap wood and then glued them all onto a long flat piece of wood. I made 5 so i would have an extra one in case i messed up and i glued them onto a piece of wood so it would be easier to maneuver it while I was using the bandsaw. When they were cut out, I peeled the extra piece of wood of and sanded them. Overall, this was a fun project and it looks really good.

Very cool box! Having to put the extra work into it will make you appreciate it even more. And you have already learned the advantages of LJ’s. You can get ideas from others. Great job.
