Dust cyclones

These are 2 dust cyclones that I have made.
The one that hangs on the wall is for my shop vac. It works great and being on the wall limits moving it around but I do have about 24’ of hose hooked to it so I can reach everything that I need to get to. Also, if I need to take the shop vac somewhere I can pull the hose from the cyclone and take it.
The second is on my dust collector. That was a free dust collector from a friend and I spruced it up w/ the cyclone. Not as good as I had hoped so I might end up w/ a mulligan on it. I would like to put the fan in the attic, vent it to the outside and attach the cyclone to the wall w/ fixed lines. Might not be at the house long enough to make it worth while right now.
They are REALLY easy to build and is a great way to keep from losing suction. I would highly recommend anyone that is thinking about building one to do it!!

Interesting. I have Jet DC1100 that I have been wanting to modify.
Thanks for sharing.
