My step stool box is an original pice made up of cherry wood. The top is 17×12 . The sides are 3.5×14. And the legs are 7×12. I went with this design because I think it looks very neat with the wood I used. The stain I used was a water based antique cherry. I did one layer of this stain on each part. And then for the finish I used high gloss tung oil. I like the way this project turned out, let me know what you guys think!

im not familiar with that particular ‘antique cherry’ stain? Care to explain for an old chap?

Well young scholar, antique cherry is a very nice smooth looking stain with a hint of red that makes your projects look amazingly beautiful like mine
