I designed this stand to solve two problems, 1. it had to be able to display both cake pops and cupcakes 2. It had to disassemble for transport but be sturdy when assembled. The platters are made of MDF and the posts and feet are made of pine. I inserted threaded rod into one end of the posts and threaded inserts in the other end. The cap piece has a carriage bolt recessed into it to tighten down the uppermost platter. I also cut a tenon in one end to make the stand more stable when assembled. The platters have smooth surfaces on one side and perforated on the other for cake pops. This is designed to be reconfigurable based on her needs as you can see in the first two pictures. She makes beautiful and delicious baked goods!

Digger: If I am not mistaken I believe from the top they are 8”, 10”, 12”, 14”, and the base unit is 12”. This was completed a few years ago, so I cannot say for absolute certain. Thanks for looking.

Very nice looking stand. Those are some delicious looking cup cakes sort of makes me hungry, but not that amount of sugar this early in the morning.

Nice work!
Cupcakes I know but, cake pops I’ve never heard of before now. Interesting to say the least! I’ll bet they are very yummy and easier to hold on to.
