Two stools that I built. The shorter on is 18” tall and the larger one is 24” tall…......table height and bar height. The first one was an experiment in compound angle cutting on the saw. I cut all the pieces and then it sat around the shop for months. I had some free time one day and I found all the pieces (amazing I know) and screwed it together. To my surprise it all fit together very well. I cut a seat on the band saw and I had a stool. I finished the taller one this week. I will sit on the overhanging side of our island which, up until now, had no stools for sitting. Pic 4 is of my little girl sitting at the computer and the last pic is of my little guy standing on the bar height one, because he needed a picture too.

Just so you all know, this is the last time I’m using my phone to take pictures, ever.

-- When questioned about using glue on a garbage bin I responded, "Wood working is about good technique and lots of glue........I have the glue part down."

Nice looking stools. A simple design yet so functional.
