Project Information

I was laid off for a while this fall and took the opportunity to get a couple projects done around the house. One of which was building cabinets for my wet bar in the basement. I bought all the material to do this back in the spring and just hadn't had the time to do it. So here it is. The cabinets are all birch ply for the boxes with quartersawn white oak for the face frames. The doors are quartersawn white oak for the frames and the panels are all walnut plywood. For the bar top my wife had the idea to use a bunch of wine corks and cover it with glass. I'm really happy with how that turned out.

Great looking wet bar! Looks like you need a little more bourbon, though….....!

I could have a barrel of it sitting there and still need a little more.
