I don’t normally do refinishing projects, but this one was for a good cause. The habitat for Humanity of Central Arkansas was having a fund raiser. I believe it was called Restore After. Local artist, contractors, or really anyone would go to their retail location and pick up a donated piece of used “something” and convert it to something useful or restored.
I decided to do a table. I chose this table without a top. I made a new top and refinished the base. The base was not a true refinish, I didn’t take it all the way down. I cleaned up with Mineral Spirits, sanded on it real good and finished it with Black Lacquer.
This project was finished in September 2015.
