Christmas gift for my pilot Son In-law. He is actually an Apache Helicopter pilot for the National Guard but you know those pilots, they love anything that fly’s. The frames are about 11” x 14” and made from walnut. They have Bubinga and Maple edge banding. Nothing special but he loved them.

Thanks for looking.

You have been busy Rick. I like them, and second time you made your own veneer trim?

That’s some nice work!
Some real nice “antique” planes.
Has your son-in-law ever visited the Commemorative Air Force in Harlingen, Texas?
I have been there several times and it is quite a place to see some beautiful restored vintage planes.

Very upscale looking frames. Really makes the B&W artwork visually pop. Very well done! What do the frames look like from the side?
