I had some cut end pieces left over when I made the vanity a couple weeks ago, I thought I would make up a clock. I finished it with 2 coats of Tongue oil sanding with newspaper; yes…newspaper in between coats followed by 2 coats of clear shellac and more newspaper and finally a good coat of paste wax. The top is about 14” x 5” and the base stands right at 6” tall and 8” wide. It has a 3-1/2” clock insert from Rockler. Thanks for looking!

Very, very nice shape. Looks great for a mantel. I particularly like the stain and finish.

Such a simple design, and yet, so elegant. The silky finish is stunning, Steve.

Steve, another very tasty clock to add to your collection. I really like your brand, is it new?

Thanks guys! It goes to show that we wood workers never have “scrap” wood!! Art I have been using that for about 3 months. My son got it for me for my birthday. He said he found an online website that made them.

Nice clock. I love making little clocks. I also think that your Brand mark is nice to.
