First posting on Lumberjocks. Frame made from a single piece of KOA hardwood….. Carpathian Elm Burl veneer. Movement is a chiming version. First attempt…. All comments welcomed.

Nice looking clock. I think I would have done something different for the latch.

I don’t how many Santa Fe Tx locations there are, but it appears that you are a neighbor of mine. Belated welcome. The clock looks good but that is some strange wood. Where did you find that clockwork with a chime?

I love that wood. Looks good as a clock. When I’ve been in Hawaii, I always spend time looking at the local craftsmen who make furniture and accessories out of Koa. Pretty wood.
