I made this quick Lego workbench for my 8 year old son to assemble and display his Lego projects. It is made from 2×4s ripped to 2×3 for the frame and legs. I used the scrap from the 2×4s to make cleats to hold the 1/2 in MDF work surfaces. Since this was a quick project the joints were done using pocket holes. The pegboard is mainly for show but I’m sure he will find a creative way to use it. I may mount some under cabinet lighting under the top shelf. Overall it was a quick and cheap project and he is already putting it to good use.
