He’s starting back to college soon and needed a place to do his work. So we designed and built a basic desk out of common materials.
There he is working on sanding one of the last parts.
There I am, in near final assembly…
And here it is in his room.

I like your desk i bet it was fun working with wood with your son. I loved working with wood with my dad.

Nice clean lines, a great looking desk, would be great in a Dorm room too. This is the kind of project that stays with a family for many years, your son will learn the value of projects completed with his dad in the years to come.
