It’s been some time since I’ve posted a project so even though it’s no big deal at least it’s a project
Here’s a little speaker box that my son asked for the material so he could build a speaker box himself two days ago,so I decided to through one together myself. The material he asked for would have been very basic made from hardboard material,so this is a little bit of an upgrade. I decided to give it a little bit of an Asian feel it’s made from hard maple with mahogany accent, plus a little ebonized maple black dot.
Merry Christmas everyone

That is a classy looking box for a speaker. That would compliment any entertainment center. Without the speaker it looks like it would be a comfy spot for a small pet. Take care Jim

Thanks Brian ,it does look like that LOL but it would be a very small pet since this is only 6 1/2” x 8 1/2”.
Merry Christmas

Nice one Jim.

As always great workmanship. I may just have to build one or two just like it only maybe a little larger. I think the wife’s cat’s would love it. They are always looking for somewhere to curl up and sleep. A cardboard box doesn’t last anytime around our home!

Great work Jim!

Nice box, I like the splines. I just made jig for that, so I hope I will try it soon also.

Nice box…..would look great on MY desk! I am still a “learning” woodworker but do know, in my opinion, the current project, whatever it is, IS a big deal. At least to me. Happy, coming new year Jim and “keep on, keepin’ on!”
