Christmas Light ornaments adapted from Carl Jacobson’s Youtube video. I am not as experienced/good as Carl, so rather than try to use a pen mandrel and plug the upper portion I just turned these as spindles and sanded the ends after parting.
I used turquoise (from Inlace) and brass inlay on the walnut ornaments with maple upper portions. The others are elm with purpleheart/unidentified red wood upper parts. I made maple/cherry and purpleheart/red oak ornaments, but did not get pictures of these before mailing out.
Finish is shellac and buffing.
Thanks for looking! Merry Christmas!!
