Got to thinking after I posted the two Ringmaster winged boxes a while back, “What else could I make using this technique?” This is the proof of concept for the ideas I came up with. Many variations along this line in the future.

Black walnut and hard maple. Approx. 11” diameter by 7 1/2” high, not counting the finial. Made with two identical blanks. The lid is what’s left after the top rings were cut.

Will probably end up trying to sell this as the wife person doesn’t want to use it as a cookie jar – “Too hard to keep it filled.”

With all the bowls I have made with the RM, I think it will be fun trying out a few of what you have been making. Very nice of course
