Every year I make something for our Snowbird friends in Destin. This year I was cleaning the shop of shorts and decided to do these boxes. The left one is quarter sawn oak and the right has a bottom of hickory and top of cherry. I embedded shells we found on the beach last year. Fun projects and makes good use of scraps.

as much as I like cherry, pretty hard to beat quarter sawn oak.

Nice job on both of them, I like the felt cover on the shelf lip, nice touch

Great looking boxes, and nice added touch of shells.
