live edge walnut bench

I was able to buy a lot of very old rough cut walnut a while back for a very good price. This piece was too pretty to cut up for boxes and what not, so I had a go at making it into a bench top. Lots of hand planing and sanding. Bench top is 53 inches long.

Very nice. You can’t go wrong with live edge walnut.

kolwdwrkr, good laugh from your comment! I think my wife may starting to get jealous. Is this grounds for divorce?
