I recently Bought a “new to me” table saw as Ive wanted a cast top saw for a while the now. the price was right and came with a small rolling car stand. After some use realized the dust collection was none existant and the wheels on the cart where inadequate for the weight of the saw.

I reinforced the bottom got some heavy duty full swivel castor on all corners. made the ebtire compartmet under the saw for dust collection, a blade storage drawer and mis stirage drawers waiting to be filled.

Also because I have a small garage shop I made a melamine cover for the top of the saw to protect it when not in use and doubles as my glue up table so i can starp in glue drips off easily.

I added a my new business logo and painted to add some color to the dull shop

Very nice setup and nice find on the table saw! I wouldn’t know what to do without a cast top. What model is that? If you don’t mind my asking.

I like the idea of the melamine top “to protect it”. May have to try that as my saw is outside under then carport.

Have your say...
