I needed to make some stools for a customer. She wanted them strong because her son is large (no dimensions given on her son). I decided it was a good time to modify my stool design. I carved the back so it should be much stronger than before. I like the look better as well. The seats are 34” tall, 18” deep and 20” wide. The legs are a full 2” stock with 1-1/4” dowels. The dowels I made myself. All Beetle Kill Pine.
The last picture is an order of nightstands leaving this week also.
Thanks for reading and all comments and suggestions are welcome.

Nicely done, Monte. Should be some very happy customers. Are the stools stationary or swivel? Thanks for sharing.

Dowels were made on the router table.
None of these have swivels. Still hoping to start new shop and showroom this winter. I think we have come to terms with the county.

Looks good Monte. They should hold anybody that can sit on them. Like the new design also !

Beautiful work! Love the colors and grain. The shape of the seats seems to be a rather detailed part. Is that wood what some refer to as blue pine? I have made some fly rod reel seat inserts from BP. Rather unique wood. Thanks for sharing the project.
