Hello again,
this is another little project to use up wood from my scrap pile.
All 11 of the holders are made from Cedar.
To give a little variety I used stains for effect.
2 are a thinned black paint wash,
5 are an Oak stain,
and 4 are a Mahogany stain.

Some of the holders have a live edge,
the others had a fake live edge added by using my block plane and a wire brush.

For this batch I decided to add feet to the base,
and they are rebated and glued into a groove.
My idea was kind of mimicking an Oriental tea stand.

The finish is 2 coats of Yacht varnish on both sides.
I have sold 5 and the rest will be used as gifts.

Thank you for looking,
and any questions or comments are welcome.
