A couple garden tool I made. The top is a cape cod weeder, and the bottom is a Dutch hoe. They are used for just sliding under the surface of the soil to cut the tops off weeds.
The metal bits are just some mild steel rods from lowes, and a piece of old lawn mower blade.
The handles are made from oak, with copper pipe for the ferrule. Just finished with some boiled linseed oil.
The handles are about a foot long. And the pistol grip is quite comfortable.

Cool idea. I would need a bunch of these to get rid of the weeds once they start growing. Nice handles.

Great projects. I’m going to have to get me some damaged lawn mower blades.
