I have a newRTJ400 Leigh jig that I wanted to use and try my hand at dovetails on a box. This is the result. The woods used are canary wood and walnut. The finish is semi-gloss lacquer. The jig was simple to use and did a marvelous job of completing the dovetails on the very first try. The top is inlayed with holly stringing and a commercially purchased star. The feet on the box are walnut; cut to the shape of a dovetail (to accent the sides) and to give the box some depth so it does not sit flat. Thanks for looking
