i recently came in to some uh free time and when the wife came back we had some new adirondack chairs and this new box. im still no sure about the lid (i was going for the japaneese style) i ran it accross the table saw at a 45 degree and gradualy raised the blade. the bottom is 1/4 inch ply wood with SAPLE? venieer, sides are leopard wood, legs are maple and the top is spalted maple or sycamore not sure if there is an easier way to shape the top aside from the belt sander im all ears….. i used a curved card scraper where possible but the wood is verry verry soft. so far only 1 coat of toung oil, many more to follow
