Just finished this cradle for a friends yet to be born granddaughter. It is made from quarter sawn red oak. Finished with Golden oak stain and Danish oil. The stand was rather challenging getting everything to fit. I know where the bumps in the road are now. I would do some things different on the next one.

I’m looking to build one in the next month or two. I just might use a through tenon on the base. I really like that detail
