Murphy Bed | Raised Panel Front | Custom

This is a Murphy bed that I completed in September 2015. This has a raised panel face, I call the Bullock. I added large 24” wide bookcases to the side with adjustable shelves on the top and door/drink tray on the bottom.

We matched the color to an existing panel. Here is the panel with our finished product:

I used the Deluxe Murphy Bed kit the new leg. This eliminates the blocks/legs off the face.

Beautiful work!! I started a murphy bed several years ago but never got around to making it look nice, it functions but just looks like unfinished plywood.

Thanks Steve. One quick way to dress it up is to add some trim to the face and some crown like I did on this Hudson Bay style that I build. You should give that a try.!hudson-bay/c7pv
