Interesting.
17,5 mm would be about 3/4 of an inch US or .75
I think EdSled thought the same thing I did when I first saw the ring. That it was a napkin holder used at a dinner place setting to hold a napkin.
I did make some pentagon shaped napkin holders a few years ago but they were about 7 or 8 centimeters in diameter…..about 3 inches US.
