Hello Everyone,

Today I did a few things in the shop. Cleaned some of it..jk…I totally didn’t. But what I did do is finally make my miter sled based off of Steve Ramsey’s design. Here’s a link to his video.

I used two 1/2” pieces of plywood for the base of the sled instead of one 3/4” piece because I quickly realized that I used most of it for my table saw build. Other than that, I did it almost exactly the same. I didn’t attach the plywood together using screws, I just glued and brad nailed it. I have yet to have something come apart that I’ve done that to. Either way, if it does i’ll redo it. It’s for my shop and that’s it.

Also, big suprise…..It doesn’t look very pretty. This is a newly embraced theme across my shop. I think that once I get my router table and router lift built I will put more effort into making the corners pretty and rounded, but until I do i’ll use my mouse sander to do as good as i can.

That’s about it folks. Enjoy.
