Another great thing is you no longer need to bend over as far to load dvds and the like.
Nice job!!! Love anything wood for our computers.

This will also help keep the tower clean by getting it up off the floor.
If I build one I might consider a drawer to keep discs in

Yes it keeps it very clean, stops the power supply from sucking in dust, the cutout in the top is also for added airflow for the power supply.
I store extra cables. Mine is a mid-sized tower, there are bigger, I’ve got a big graphics and sound card plus a couple HD’s as this system pretty much runs the house.
