Hollow Core Wooden Surfboard

A hollow core surfboard has been on my to-do list for quite a while and I have finally been able to check it off the list with this beautiful 5’9”x23” fish that I designed earlier in the year.

its construction is made with a marine ply wood skeleton with strips of Western Red Cedar and Paulownia for the deck and solid rails.

how does it handle compared to a glass board?
