Hi All;
This week I was very busy so I didn’t have time for a more traditional project video. I did want to try a new finishing technique I had come across called Hydro-Painting. It involves spray paint and a bucket of water. The resulting box is from one of my first attempts. Take a look and let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Mike

Great idea, good technique and very nice finish on the box.
I’ll have to try this in the future.

What kind of paint did you use? Does it matter?

I used Valspar spray paint for this video. I haven’t played with other brands yet. I’d imagine that different paints would work a little bit differently. Water temperature might also have some effect.

Interesting technique. I’m curious if various color stains would work for this as well?
Have your say...
