Walnut Box with Grapes......I couldn’t help myself…...after doing the bowls, I had to try it on a box. This little decorative walnut box is about 4×6 inches and has maple vines and grapes done in cherry and Koa.
The corners are a rabbet joint and the bottom is plywood in a dado. The lid is hinged with a single 105 degree brass stop hinge, and the bottom is lined with black suede. The finish is semi-gloss hand rubbed poly.
