Biker Trash Caricature

This is my first caricature carving I have ever done. I carved it from scratch mostly with a carving knife. I did not use a roughout or bandsaw for the design, it started as a block of wood and went from there.
I just started a female biker caricature last night that I will design to be “beginning to flash” and will mount them both on a base. I may donate it to the American Legion Riders for a motorcycle run we are having in August as a door prize or silent auction prize but I have not decided for sure yet. I always hate to give my first carving of something away as it would be nice to compare it to one in about 20 years and see how bad I was when I first started.
I hope you all like it.
Thanks for looking.

Nicely done Bug. It reminds me a little of Lee Marvin’s character in the Brando movie “The Wild One” from 1954 or thereabouts.

Nothing “bad” about this one. Great carving and design.

Keep it up.

Great Job. This is something I have always wanted to do. I f you have ever seen the carving of the “Full Moon Saloon” I have always thought one like that with nothing but bikers would be great. Nice work, now you have me thinking that I can do this also. Thanks for sharing

Thanks everyone.
It was actually easier then I thought it would be and only took my about 10 hours to carve it and another 2 to paint and seal it I think. Good thing I am not selling it or I would be working for about a buck an hour or less.

lol mcoyfrog… me too.
I am currently working on his “Better Half”... A biker babe with chaps and a vest and no shirt that is in the process of flashing him. She is about 90% carved and then I have to paint her and mount the two on a base. Should be a fun piece when I am finished with them.
