This is a year or so old but thought it was worth the post.

My wife bought thought I needed a place to relax so bought me a used hot tub for my 40th birthday. It needed some new works and the exterior needed refinishing. Once all the workings were doing their thing, I decided the exterior needed something. I had a bunch of cedar siding I took off a wall in our living room that was looking for a home so a perfect match. Sanded it all down and a coat or three of verathane for the final product.

looks like you are fixing the place up real nice ,
with all this relaxing ,
when will you have time for woodwork ?

Looks great. I’ve got my hot tub inside a 4 seasons building. It sure cuts down the wear and tear on an outdoor one.

I need to build new steps the old one is starting to rust at the hindges and teh wood (plywood) is coming apart.

Great job on the rebuild

Our two year old loves to be in it for short times. I have reduced the temperature for the summer and she can sit and play for about 1/2 an hour now and then it is a struggle to get her out.
