A simple bowl turned from juniper (Eastern red cedar). The challenge here was a foot that was unstable due to checking. Finished with Danish Oil and buffed. The bowl is about 5” in diameter.

That is a real nice bowl. ! The Danish oil sure brings out the grain!!

Eastern red is one of my favorite woods. Love the aroma. I am always weary about putting anything on the cedar because I don’t want to kill the smell, but I know I should. I have a couple of cedar pot to post. Look out for them.
