A friend of mine approached me to make him this cribbage board after a group of us played at all the time in graduate school. His mother and him liked to go out to supper and wanted a board they could travel with easily. The lettering on it was meant to convey his thanks as they are really close. He never really knew his real father and his step-dad (who raised him) passed away a few years ago. Both really appreciated the gift and all I can say after losing to him in plenty of games is I hope she woops him on this!
I really enjoy the look and function of barrel hinges but have struggled the three times I have used them for correct placement, if any fellow LJs have any pointers for this type of application, I would much appreciate it!

Very cool design. I wish I had some advice for the barrel hinges, but nothing here. Hoping you get some replies on that.
Great gift for your friend…
