Jewelry box – chip carved

This basswood jewelry box with tray measures about 6×12 x 4”H. I lined the bottom with red velvet. If I recall there are about 5,000 cuts needed to remove the chips, but who’s counting, right!
Sealer and spray satin lacquer finish.

Fun stuff! Thanks for looking. Cya next time!

It’s another beautiful piece, Marty, and your carving is so precise.

Good lord! If I tried to make something like that it would take me 1,000 years at least! Well done!

I can’t fathom how you’re able to cut so accurately by hand, amazing.

Beautiful chip carving to say the least.
It is a darn good looking jewelry box too!
