My Grandson considers himself to be a “Lego Master.” So I built him a little display case for his favorite Lego figures. I will give it to him for his b-day the end of the month. It was a fun little project and will hold 12 figures. Made from red oak with an oil finish.

Way to go Grandpa! Nicely done. The case itself, with the recesses/slots, has a lego look to it. My guess is he will love it.

I like the way those lego bases slide in there. Well done.

Very nice shelf. Love the slot idea. Nothing is more satisfying that making stuff for grand kids.

perspective is everything. just looking at the first photo, it seemed these were some sort of giant lego men that were 6 or 8 inches tall. then the next pictures cleared up my eyes :). thanks for sharing.

very nice! This would never work for my son – as soon as he builds something with Lego, he wants to tear it apart & do it again.. ;)
Have your say...
