Here’s a little “Kids Stool” I put together. I wanted something a little different than the standard straight-legged stool. So I beveled and angled each leg, top and bottom, at 5 each. The stretcher/apron has a 5 angle the length of it to allow the top to sit flush. It also sits in a notch/half-saddle/hip joint or dado, whichever you prefer to call it. The rails on the sides are inset into a notch. This is made from a leftover Pine 2×6 and Pine 1×6. Its stained in a Dark Walnut and finished with a 3-1 poly/paint thinner combination. Fun little project!
