This is the first thing I ever made that was good enough to be allowed in the house. This is where I figured I could actually make something nice enough!
I was given the Legs already turned and 3 matched, lol.
I bought the top from the refuse tip ,. it was the headboard of a single bed and made from some type of hardwood,. cut it square and routered a profile, stained it with some dark stain,, can’t remember much about it but It is still in use in our lounge room.

Obviously your wife is a woman with a very discriminating taste in furniture.

If she is anything at all like my wife there is long list of projects on HER list. After all I am sure she doesn’t want you to get bored. :)
