This is a wine/liquor rack that I built as a wedding gift to my very good friends. It is all sliding dovetails except for the half blinds on the front and the through dovetails on the drawer. I used sapele and hard maple for a nice contrast and finished it with homemade Danish oil. The drawer pull I got was too bulky so I cut it down and expoxied a piece of sapele to the bottom half and shaped it to the desired look. The rack hangs by a matching sapele French cleat. As always, I wish I took better pictures of my projects before gifting them…but oh well. Thanks for looking

It’s realy nice. Those dovetails all around looks great. Good choice of woods to emphasise the contrast.

You should make the receiver send a picture as a condition of receiving the gift.
