Been working hard on this technique, made two identical boards then sandwiched them together on opposing planes thus the bookmatched look
made two just to see if this works well.
I think so.
Covered each with a formula of bees wax & ,mineral oil

Very cool. After cutting the curved lines did fit seamlessly back together or did it need a bit of sanding? They look great.

Very nice job. One of those projects that appears complicated but is quite easy. Next batch, try thin strips of padauk between the squares. A beautiful detail.
