Great job. Are those raised panels or is that just the look from the wood grain? Is the back plywood?

Great looking hutch. Bill, I think it’s the wood color that makes it look like raised panels. The middle photo doesn’t look like a raised panel is used. Craig knows best, though.

The sides are not panels. I would have prefered panels but my mil picked the design. The back is 1/2” solid oak, ship lapped.

Nice hutch! The finish is really a classic golden color. Nice job! I like this style.

How many coats of natural and then of polyurethane? Craig, you will see a theme here with my responses, I’m trying to improve my finishing techniques.

Once again, a very professional piece of furniture.

What are the dimensions on your hutch I am in the process of designinig one amd I am really having a problrm with the clients request of 36” width the one that bothers me is the height of 72”. I am used to going to 80” – 84”. For a narrow hutch your perportions look balanced like they should, is this your desigm or from a plan? I put a lot of faith in the fibernacci gauge to help keep my perportions in balance.

Any how it looks great, keep at it,
