Made an easel for my new almost son. The adoption should be complete in the next couple of months. Funny thing is he’s a month older than my granddaughter. Troy will be 2 in July. We’ve had him since he was 4 days old.
One side has a dry erase panel and the other is hardboard that the 18” paper roll feeds over. I’m ‘gonna paint over the hardboard with “magnetic” primer (metal impregnated) so magnet backed numbers will stick to it, too.
Was going to do chalk board but my wife said no ‘cause of chalk dust. Red oak finished with orange shellac. I’ll be able to add extensions to the legs when the time comes so it can grow with him.
