I dont have much in the way of tools but what I do have is buried in cases and bins and is always a cluttered mess. I needed everything visible and within reach. So I built a simple frame and then customized shelving as I went. Have a few more shelves and compartments and I am good to go. I used about a sheet and a half of 3/4 and 1/2 inch plywood.

There is a lot of dead space between the bottom of the screwdrivers and the battery mess. I am assuming that is where another shelf will be going. Perhaps a dedicated batter shelf….......seems like it would fit perfectly as it doesn’t have to be too tall just to hold drill batteries and a charger.

Totally agree with you. Was going to include some adjustable shelving and a power strip to have multiple chargers and things linked up. For the back, the same – more adjustable shelving and so forth so I can tweak as I go.
