I updated our bathroom recently. I used this old dresser to create a vanity for the bath. I had to disassemble the dresser and cut it down to fit the vanity top that I already had. Put it back together, add the top, drop in the sink and presto!! I made the cabinet and mirror from quartersawn white oak. I like this bathroom much better now.

This is a beautiful piece of cabinetry. I enjoy seeing this style of furniture and what is not to like about QSWO. How did you stain and finish the vanity?

Nice job of salvaging the dresser too, by the way.

Very nice vanity & cabinet.
That drawer pull is usually used for trunk and chest lift handle isn’t it? I bought a pair more than a year ago
for my tool chest but haven’t used it coz no plan to build one yet.

I bought the drawer pulls and the door pull as a set. Maybe for trunk?? It looks decent in that room so I guess it works.

Thanks for the kind words.
