Cherry bench

Local hardwood lumber yard or as I call it never leave there with any money lumber yard cut me a great deal on a 12ish foot long 2” thick cherry slab and it turned into this bench. finished in teak oil.
there are a couple of pictures with out the teak oil applied.

Nice. Im building something similar except straight trestle. I tried using a curved live edge piece but i botched it.

By the way, how did you secure the top to the base?
