My buddy commissioned me to create this massive end-grain cutting board for him.

Per his request, function was sacrificed to get the entire image onto the board. He was never planning on using the piece. It ended measuring in at 30” x 15” x 1.5”.

Design was created using Cherry, Jatoba, Tropical Walnut and Hard Maple.

Mega Man falls short of the notoriety of Mario, but nevertheless he was a classic 8-bit Nintendo character. Pictured here is Mega Man equipped with Metal Blade.

The second picture is the original image from the game.

Thanks for looking!

2 thumb up! This may be the coolest thing I have seen in while. I guess that is a natural feeling when you are 35 your 2 hobbies are woodworking and video games. Now you have inspired me to make a tri-force cutting board for myself

Bravo man, this is amazing! Looks like it was a fun project and that it definitely took some serious time. Props.

Funny that Joshua said he is going to make a triforce cutting board because I just made one! haha
