Every now and again I stumble across a grain pattern that stands alone
or a contour of a Trestle that I need to do again. This one was
totally by mistake and Poplar, I feel, isn’t just for paint grade timbers
anymore. I love earth tones and faint green mixed with cream and
The Walnut to be the top heavy hearty surface that came from patches of
left over scraps from years of working with the wood. I originally stained the poplar
and hated it so then sanded down and was doing a 3 part Mallouf finish on the Walnut
and some dripped down the Poplar base and I just went with it. Emulated the Bat Wing
hinges on the pulls. Added an under mount sink & bronze faucet and our new home has a new direction for our bathrooms we’ve inadvertently been brought too.

I really dig this! Can you please post a photo showing the entire piece?
