This is one of two boxes I made for my Daughter in Law. She sells jewerly and with these she can keep all her jewerly set up and just carry them into the house without having to unpack and then repack everything.
The pictures aren’t the best as they make them look more blotchy then they really are.
The sides are maple ply and are wrapped with Cherry. This was my first attempt with using flocking.
Thanks John

Hi John,
When I saw these I nearly did a double take, thay are so close to a set of boxes I made for my wife, for the same reason.
I guess the same problems result in near identical solutions :)
My wifes earrings can be seen at EllegantEarrings, does your Daughter in Law have a website?
Would love to see some of her stuff.
Keep up the good work
Take care

Yettiman: She sells jewerly from Lia Sophia. I don’t know anything about jewerly but I try to tell her she would make more money having tool parties but I can’t convince her.

LOL
If she ever does see the error of her ways, and starts with the Tool parties, book me in :)

The cases I made for her are VERY simular to these. I am going over their this evening and will try and get pics to post.( forgot all about doing those last year)
Great job on the boxes. I like your handles. Mine are lacking them.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks to aiJim
Scrappy, I’d like to see the pictures of yours. The boxes I made aren’t a big deal compared to alot of the projects on this site but she sure is proud of them.

Is there a plan for this project you could share? My dad does this type of stuff as a hobby and I want him to make me one of these display cases for my jewelry business. He needs a plan he said….
Have your say...
