This is a cabinet I made to hang in my hearth room. The box is solid cherry, the back is cherry ply and the doors feature some resawn spalted maple I had. The sides feature dovetail construction and pillowed ebony plugs. The cabinet is finished with flat lacquer. The interior drawer fronts were made from the same curly spalted maple, oriented horizontally and laminated to baltic birch ply for the drawer fronts. Drawer boxes are of maple, trimmed with cherry at the top. Was a fun project. I love how Cherry darkens with exposure to sunlight.

Beautiful cabinet with lots of nice details. I love the woods you chose too. Great work!
